Amidst the whirlwind, Van Landschoot was invited to audition for FROM as Kristi, a third-year med student who becomes the town medic. However, her life as an actor was put on hold when the pandemic began, thrust into the overwhelming hospital environment day in and day out. In between shifts as a nurse, she would take auditions and film self-tapes.
